I seem to be catching every imaginable illness in the past week. Now I'm pretty sure I have some sort of cold/sore throat mixture. I've mostly been sleeping and working on projects. I had two ideas for sculptures, but with one of them I don't have the correct clay and materials and with the second one...well, other obligations are getting in the way. I also wanted to fiddle around with some new techniques I learned, but again, no time.

My dad sent me some pictures of where he is staying at, and the view is beautiful! I really want to visit Arizona now. He said he's been having very peaceful nights sleeping. Maybe he'll let me come see him, even though I'm sort of disappointing being jobless, homeless, and driver's license-less(not to mention a few other things)...but sometimes I do cook some good dishes and I guess I know how to clean, so maybe meals and a free maid will convince him. :-D

Just been sketching this summer...nothing too creative. Nothing I'm posting up yet.

So I bought a new domain! How did this happen you ask? (or maybe you didn't ask, smart alec...) I was on digg and just having a binge of science article reading when I came across a video about robots who mimic human facial expression. One of the robots in the video I saw was named "Nixie" ....

For anyone who sees me elsewhere on the internet I try to go by RobotNixie everywhere...at least every account I signed up for after Winter 2007 is used with the name robotnixie. I was contemplating buying and changing my website domain from stardustsidhe.com to robotnixie.com, but I figured I had enough time later to think about it, especially since the only thing on stardustsidhe.com was a link to my deviant art page.

But I guess seeing the robot with the name "Nixie" sent me into a panic and I impulsively just bought the domain robotnixie.com ...I just got it to work, but it's still looking like crap. It also still says "stardustsidhe".

Edit to Add: Have become video came four-timer. Just bought Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble, re-installed Fable (and my computer actually plays it this time! I don't know what magical pixie entered my computer to let this happen), started Arcanum, and still getting through The Longest Journey.

I'm a always busy! I've signed up for AugNoWRiMo. I've spent the last half hour staring at a word document page with one little note about the prologue. I only signed up for 20,000 words, though. (LOL, edited cause I originally wrote "20 words")

Hm, in a dilemma, though. Because I said I would do a bunch of short stories so I wouldn't get tied in to the Epic Story syndrome I normally acquire...but now it seems I'm doing the first act of the graphic novel series turned traditional novel turned graphic novel, turned back to traditional novel...that has been festering cobwebs and mold that has grown intelligent enough to hide my things from me.

I wrote a short story for my creative writing class, but when I tried to submit it to deviant art, apparently I'd need to re-format all of the italics and such...so I thought, no way am I doing that, and I never uploaded it. I might put it up on my *not-really-a-professional-blog*, but I'm so paranoid someone will steal it. I put it up on my personal blog, then I read a horror story about how someone stole this other girl's writing and put it up somewhere without her permission, so then I restricted the story to friends only. Oh well, I'll get it up on the web for people to read someday. Finals for the class is on Monday and we need to submit something revised... so, somewhere inbetween AugNoWriMo, packing up, freaking out about this coming fall and my future, going home, and finals for Character Animation, I'll revise the story.

The ending was a little abrupt and odd. The last line is actually so horrible that I thought if no one comments on that, then they are being way too nice.

Oh, I also decided to start a new project. That I'm (unimaginatively) calling Project 365. It's not about the cheap organic food brand. It's me drawing at least ONCE per day. Why? Because when I get moody and upset and in my little "funks" I wind up not drawing for a LONG time and that's extremely bad for someone that has a degree in Illustration and went on for two years how "I'm going to do american shojo fantasy action comics!"

It was supposed to start July 31st, but...oops, I didn't get around to it. So I started today, which is actually a better idea because Aug 1 2008 -- July 31 2009 sounds better than July 31 2008 -- July 30th 2009.

In a week and before I pack up my scanner I'll scan everything I did and put it in scraps and on my *not-really-a-professional-blog* and crosslink it to the personal blog.

Um, oh yeah. No new deviations. Again.

Has anyone seen Doctor Who? ^__^

So I updated the Dead End Door with a sort of "ending" and I added a few other things that have some dust on them. I tried to polish them up, but then my damn computer keeps freezing. Need a new one soon. o_X
