I hate it when I don't realize I haven't packed stuff until I'm in the new place I was packing to. I forgot a bunch of stuff, yet my bag was still overweight. I'm back in school now, but I kind of just want to stay in my room. I only had a few hours sleep last night, so maybe it's the sleep-deprivation talking. But I'm really nervous. I have to get a job and find an apartment by August or I'll be forced to go back to Chicago, which I don't want to do. I think there were other things I was worried about, but I can't remember. Too tired. I might update again soon.

So, since I have less school recently(only two classes) I seem to be drawing a lot more. Odd, since I've been going to art school since I started my deviant art account.

I have a few things I want to upload, but I want to wait till I've finished coloring them. I also might start removing some old stuff because I can't stand looking at it anymore. I already removed some old stuff before, but I may have to look through and see what I want to keep...I'm going to try to not take down something without another piece that's better to take it's place.

I won't however remove Ariel the Elf. Even though he looks awful (imo), it was my first deviation. I started an actual illustration with him (meaning with a background! A background! Me!? ...I'm terrified of them, btw.) So it might be nice to compare.

I was up until 6am today playing Arcanum. I recently re-installed it on my computer. At first I really sucked. The character I chose had a background of "escaped lunatic" so no one would speak with her or just hated her. I made a new character and then quit. Then this morning when I woke up the internet wasn't working (since I had my computer in sleep mode). So to wait for the internet to "warm up" again I thought I'd play just a few MINUTES of Arcanum. Yeah, so later at 4pm in the afternoon I stopped playing and decided I should really shower and start actual work.

I have a character I'm making for one class that I posted up the other day. She's named Gemna Clearwater...and I think the name sounds really familiar to me so I'm afraid I might be subconsciously stealing the name from somewhere...So if anyone knows of a Gemna Clearwater in a fictional or non fictional sense, let me know so I can change the last name. I googled the name and I didn't find anything. But you never know.

I have to draw up some 2d sheets for her. But geez, I'm so stuck on the costume. I tried to do a knight-esque costume on top of another dress she was wearing in another picture. But one of the other students in the class completely slammed that picture for being "confusing". Not that I care too much what he thinks, but I didn't like how the costume was looking.

I was thinking I should take more anatomy or head drawing classes. I find those classes SO BORING, but honestly drawing from memory doesn't always end up so well for me. I was thinking of switching my major or focus to 2d animation, so if I do that I think I'll be required to take more figure drawing classes. Which wouldn't be bad, since I need them.

Just an update to let people know I'm alive. I've dropped one of my classes so I might have more time to work on actual art instead of just doing scraps every now and then.

I'm not in a very good mood for writing, so I'll keep this short. Working on a few projects that are due in the next week. I can't believe I got a 100 for my Library! I mean, I had no textures, and I'm not counting that five minute sky 'not-a-painting' on the wall. There was even a shifty problem with the floor where I guess I accidentally moved it and there was a gap...

Anyways, I'll put up the comic I'm working on when I finish it, and the models I did this semester later when I have time.
