We had to do a book cover illustration and I chose to do an illustrated version of "A Great and Terrible Beauty"

That's pretty nifty. :) I like how the colors and the simplicity just work so nicely together. Great concept, and nice work!
very nice. and the print definitely give it a nice professional feel.

The butterfly silluettes are a nice subtle nuance. I like them so much though that I wish we got to see them repeated elsewhere on the illustration, say on the back fold. but thats mostly just a personal preference
Cool! Looks very real

oh i so love ur work! Its soo good! I love this photo!
well... late comment, but whatever. anyways, I absolutely love this. It captures the scenes from the book that stuck with me the most - sneaking out of Spence and wandering the forest at night to meet in the caves. Lovely.

"Everything that you wanted I have done. You asked that the child be taken. I took him. You cowered before me, I was frightening. I have reordered time. I have turned the world upside down, and I have done it all for you!"

You may ask who I am
but you may never know
You may wonder my causes
but they will remain unknown
You may wonder ask and never know
Because, my love, even I don't know
